2. Product identification & traceability
Each product/order is identifiable by: - product/model name and configuration reference, - order number, - production batch/date (where applicable).
3. Materials
Furniture is made from melamine-faced chipboard (laminated particleboard, MFC) with matching ABS edge banding, in the following décors and thicknesses: - Kronospan U8685 BS “Biel Alpejska” (white) — 18 mm - EGGER U999 ST7 “Czarny” (black) — 18 mm - Kronospan WU8685 BS (white) — 36 mm - EGGER U999 ST7 “Czarny” (black) — 36 mm
Each piece is custom-made, so the exact board, thickness and dimensions depend on the configuration ordered.
4. Safety information shown before purchase (website)
- The product is supplied as a flat-pack kit for self-assembly.
- Anti-tip / stability warning: tall or top-heavy units must be anchored to the wall using suitable fixings. There is a risk of tip-over and serious injury, especially to children, if a unit is not anchored.
- Intended for normal indoor, domestic use only; not for outdoor or high-humidity environments.
- Load capacity depends on the configuration (shelf span, board thickness, fixings). As general guidance for evenly distributed loads, 18 mm shelves are intended for light-to-medium loads and 36 mm shelves for heavier loads. Do not exceed the load limit stated for your specific configuration (shown on the product page / in the assembly manual). Always distribute weight evenly.
- Keep small parts (screws, fittings) away from children during assembly — choking hazard.
5. In-box assembly & safety sheet
Each kit includes (printed and/or via QR to a digital version): 1. Parts list with quantities and part numbers. 2. Tools required. 3. Step-by-step assembly instructions (diagrams). 4. Wall-anchoring instructions with the anti-tip warning shown prominently, including guidance to use fixings appropriate to the wall type. 5. Load limit and usage limits for the configuration. 6. Care & maintenance (cleaning; avoiding humidity and direct heat). 7. Safety warnings (do not climb/stand on the furniture; keep children away during assembly). 8. Manufacturer contact for questions and spare parts (Section 1).
6. Incident handling
6.1. The manufacturer keeps a log of any reported safety incident or injury. 6.2. Where a product presents a risk, the manufacturer will take corrective action (warning, repair, recall) and, where required, inform the relevant authority via the EU Safety Business Gateway.
